Diagnostic Group is the wholesale distributor of Amplivox products is the US located in Eden Prairie, MN.

 

The Outside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for developing and guiding the execution of Amplivox’s sales strategies and tactics managing key customer alliances and executive selling of divisional products, services, programs, and initiatives to the accounts via an omni channel distribution network and catalog sales in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully represent and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers
  • Respond to incoming communications (phone / email) from customers and prospects in a timely manner
  • Work with the development team on current product updates and future development requirements
  • Identify customer expectations and exercise decision making ability to determine the best product/service mix to meet customer’s needs
  • Train customers on proper use of company equipment and products, including the promotion and support thereof
  • Communicate customer expectations to various support departments
  • Meet annual sales growth goals
  • Evaluate account base; develop and implement strategies, tactics, and contingency plans to obtain a specific market share
  • Introduce new products to existing and new customers
  • Represent company at regional or national trade shows and at office visits
  • Maintain professionalism, including certifications and licensures as appropriate; stay abreast of new developments through meetings, publications, seminars and in-house training opportunities

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of sales and customer service experience; hearing industry experience is preferred
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able maintain clear driving record
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check as well as any customer-required screening requirements
  • Effective verbal and written communication with professional appearance
  • Naturally persuasive
  • Problem solving and reasoning
  • Dependable, punctual, and reliable; able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Great attention to detail with high standard of work quality
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • 40% travel
    • Ability to travel (domestic and international) and drive for extended periods of time in company car to reach all customers in assigned territory
    • Some overnight trips will be required
  • Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching depending on variables at customer location
