Demant seeks to hire a Contract Administrator to review both template and additional agreements and ensure consistent management of such documents. In doing so the Contract Administrator will partner with Demant’s businesses to coordinate and execute commercial and operational agreements supporting Demant’s varied businesses. The Contract Administrator plays an integral role in Demant’s contract management process and will consult and collaborate with members of Demant’s Legal, Compliance, Business, and Finance teams to draft, review, negotiate, finalize, and store a wide-range of agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial review and assist with negotiation of agreements to maintain Demant’s template terms, while addressing business concerns.
  • Liaise with Demant’s Legal, Compliance, Business, and Finances teams regarding contract matters.
  • Provide stakeholders with approved templates and assist business with contract needs.
  • Finalize agreements for execution, obtain all necessary signatures, and distribute/communicate executed agreements to internal Demant constituents.
  • Assist with storage and management all final agreements to comply with continuity of business requirements.
  • Be able to weigh legal risk against business needs and realities, and making decisions based on sound judgment.
  • May perform miscellaneous contracts-related tasks and projects, as directed by manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with 1-3 years of contract, legal, or procurement experience, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Exemplify a strong attention to detail
  • Be energetic, engaged, and able to demonstrate past examples of taking a proactive, innovative approach in the management of contracts. 
  • Have the ability to work independently alongside legal and business stakeholders and coordinate multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • Have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume, frequently changing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Possesses superior organizational skills
  • Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office (Word and Excel specifically).
  • Must be comfortable and efficient in high paced environment.
  • Must be hardworking, team-oriented and possess the ability to think creatively and efficiently in resolving business issues.
  • Must make decisions based on sound judgment and display the highest level of ethical conduct and integrity.
