MAILROOM CLERK - Somerset, NJ
An incoming mailroom clerk performs functions related to the opening, sorting, documenting, scanning and delivering of incoming orders and other misc. packages.
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED; or minimum of 3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Overtime is expected and required as workload, customers, and training demands, and is always mandatory if needed on the last working day of the month. Cross training and cross functionality are expected.
Mail room clerk requires speed, accuracy, attention to detail, excellent eyesight to be able to read very small numbers, and excellent judgment while working in a fast paced environment. Requires a positive attitude, ability to work independently, a well as part of a team, reliability and flexibility.
