The Outside Sales Representative at E3 Diagnostics offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina will be responsible for equipment demonstration, sales, training and post-sale support within North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.   

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase equipment, calibration service, software and consulting service sales within the Occupational Health/Industrial Market for the assigned territory
  • Ensure customers receive the most suitable audiometric instrumentation recommendations to meet their needs and requirements, close the equipment sale, provide in-service training, and post-sale support and service.
  • Have the technical aptitude and skills to successfully install/train customers on the equipment post sale and execute yearly calibrations.
  • Collaborate with sales office personnel including service technicians, schedulers, and administrative support
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending clinical workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to and work effectively with each office team to accomplish related results, as needed
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to lead projects, as needed
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and provide unparalleled service and technical support
  • Meet or exceed all sales and service goals in assigned territory
  • Maintain accurate records of customer contact and equipment
  • Keep product knowledge current and attend all required training
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing

Qualifications

  • Experience in the Occupational Health Market space. Familiarity with OSHA requirements and guidelines. Specific experience in management & execution of a Hearing Conservation program, Spirometry, Vision or Substance Program Management is preferred.
  • Experience and documented success in a selling capacity or role.
  • Working proficiency of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able maintain clear driving record
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check as well as any customer-required screening requirements.
  • Ability to read, interpret and execute equipment installation and calibration documents.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial documents required
  • Prior P&L responsibilities is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands

  • 75% travel – ability to drive for extended periods of time in company car to reach all customers in assigned territory; overnight travel will be mandatory and required in order to be successful in the position.
  • Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching depending on variables at customer location
