The Business Systems Analyst, will be involved in projects to Demant’s Hearing Care business unit HearingLife and centered on analyzing, documenting/improving critical business processes, with a specific focus on MS Dynamics AX, POS, and other related applications.  They will have regular interaction with senior leaders and managers on the status of projects, gaps, challenges and implementation plans for all groups involved. They will gain experience in understanding a complex international business with multiple brands and stakeholders being involved in various aspects of the business.


  • Drive identification of requirements across Demant’s hearing care business unit and serve as thought leader for business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels
  • Create and implement precise management plans for every project, with attention to transparent communication at all levels
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with key stakeholders and document them clearly and precisely for implementation
  • Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production, to ensure maximum usability
  • Perform, evaluate, and communicate thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development
  • Develop insightful dashboards and relevant KPIs for the business
  • Partner with other stakeholder teams (i.e., Sales, Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, Business Intelligence, PMO) to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative way, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
  • Strengthen cross functional processes and communication between HearingLife, Global Hearing Care IT, and Hearing Care IT US.
  • Author and update business requirement documentation, business process mapping, business capability model for Demant’s HearingLife business unit
  • Creates system set-up data, configure tables and perform user acceptance testing within multiple application environments, and others when applicable to ensure requirements are addressed
  • Develop user specifications, overseeing functional testing, production sign-off and participating in implementations
  • Prepare test cases and execute test cases to document pass/fail scenarios defining defect management process
  • Estimate work effort from requirements gathering to testing to provide input to Project team
  • Ensure proper SDLC testing methodologies are followed (unit testing, functional testing, user acceptance testing)
  • Work with development teams to automate core testing cases to increase overall efficiency in the testing process.

May perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by manager.


  • Bachelor’s Degree Required, Masters Preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in large scale Software Development projects as a Business Systems Analyst and / or tester
  • Dynamics AX implementation and/or support experience (1+ implementation)
  • Exceptional documentation skills with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills with process mapping and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to quickly understand software functionality of diverse nature, and, translate into business requirements, test cases and plans to match business expectations.
  • Extensive hands on experience documenting requirements, test cases and performing testing
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, stakeholder management, delegation and team motivation skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks/projects interdepartmentally and simultaneously
  • Working Knowledge of SDLC / PLC is required
  • Salesforce certifications are desirable
  • Full Lifecycle ERP / CRM experience is desired
  • Experienced in defect management and resolution processes.
  • Project Management Knowledge / Certification is desirable
  • Health care experience desired
  • Revenue Cycle Management experience desired
  • Insurance billing experience desired
