SENIOR MANAGER E-COMMERCE

The Senior E-Commerce Manager collaborates with internal departments to ensure the delivery of an effective online customer experience by managing the vision and implementation of the strategic e-commerce plan for the Company’s E-Commerce website, MyOticon.com, and the company website Oticon.com. This position will manage MyOticon.com and Oticon.com and act as Product Owner for the two websites.  The Senior E-Commerce Manager will ensure the sites are easy to navigate, up to date with web technology, competitive and reflect the needs of the customer and consumer, while managing all new features and functionality. The qualified candidate must be willing to be responsible and demonstrate the initiative for the entire operation and details pertaining to the E-Commerce site and corporate website from planning to execution.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variation in their work and being able to participate in various roles such as site planning, web technology and functionality, customer experience, and web analytics. 

• Develop and manage the vision and implementation of the strategic plan, spanning both Myoticon & Oticon website
• Reflect the voice of the customer and consumer; oversee the e-commerce and Oticon.com user experience and ensure a positive and cohesiveness user flow between Oticon.com and MyOticon.com.
• Assess, recommend, and implement innovations and initiatives that support strategy and contribute to increasing adoption, usage and sales to hit MYO & Oticon.com forecast numbers.
• Work with internal teams to identify and implement commerce-related opportunities that will drive business, develop plan accordingly and ensure product is aligned with approved requirements. Lead decision-making in prioritization; Manage stakeholder expectations.
• Working closely with IT, lead as product owner to drive prioritization, launch cadence, and roadmap. Ensure site performance is optimized and troubleshoot when necessary.
• Gather and analyze web metric information and make recommendations to further improve usability and customer experience; adjust strategies and programs; Analyze user path and user journey and optimize sites accordingly. Forecast & adjust annual sales projections through this channel accordingly.
• Advocate best practices and new industry trends and opportunities. Identify and champion emerging best practices in site design, channel engagement and competitive efforts to ensure we maintain our competitive edge. 
• Collaborate with members of the Brand team and other departments across the organization including Global to drive traffic, usage, and sales to MYO and Oticon.com website and reduce incoming calls to Customer Experience and Inside Sales as appropriate.
• Nurture cross-department cooperation and collaboration to drive online sales channel. Manage all communication so key stakeholders are consistently made aware of launch tactics, usage, and ongoing improvements.
• Manage, inspire, & develop UX Designer direct report to ensure necessary support of MYO and O.com as well as employee engagement and growth. (reword)
• Manage and oversee new functionality developments on Oticon.com and MyOticon.com; create, maintain & prioritize the product backlog.
• Recommend and manage the development of supplemental website content/sections for both sites.
• Direct all internal and external testing (UAT & functional); Work to address any bugs; work with IT to troubleshoot
• Report on performance vs forecast to upper management

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• 8-10 years in web and eCommerce experience. Experience with direct-to-consumer eCommerce a plus. Have proven experience running a growing, successful and profitable e-commerce site, selling B2C or B2B
• Proven experience leading and managing both retail/ecommerce and websites, including a solid understanding of site navigation and reporting tools.
• Proven ability establishing online strategic growth plans and selling those recommendations through to sr management
• Proven ability working with IT department in the development and growth of corporate and ecommerce websites.
• Proven ability to build an analytics dashboard and have an understanding of the full-story of the business; communicate to senior management.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability; Proven ability to leverage data to support strategic & tactical recommendations and build a compelling case for change
• Proven ability as to act as functional lead and to collaborate / work well across multiple departments (locally and globally) and independently
• Solid Strong team leadership and management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and mentor & develop others
• Excellent written and verbal communication across multiple levels including to a senior management audience
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong team player with leadership qualities
• Ability to manage and develop a small team either directly or indirectly
