e3 Diagnostics is looking for an Apprentice Service Technician to join in the New York Metro office in Syosset, NY.

Responsibilities

Responsible for calibration, maintenance, equipment repairs and installations on a wide range of audiology equipment.

· Build and maintain customer relationships, provide service and technical support for all e3 equipment offerings ensuring calibration and preventative maintenance is completed as scheduled according to service agreement.

· Collaborate with office administration team to ensure scheduling of equipment calibrations meets the required deadlines and certification requirements.

· Maintain accurate records of customer contact and equipment.

· Limited travel to customers locations, works independently with minimal supervision.

· Responsible for calibration of equipment received at the regional office; schedule return to customer when completed.

Qualifications

· 2 year Technical or Engineering degree in progress or related experience required in lieu of degree/certificate program.

· Knowledge of Microsoft office, experience with database management systems.

· Willingness to obtain and maintain Certification National Association of Special Equipment Distributors (NASED), certification training provided by e3 Diagnostics.

· Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain clear driving record.

· Effective verbal & written communication with professional appearance.

· Ability to Lift up to 50 pounds, bending and lifting throughout the workday.

· Some overnight trips may be required

· Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and crouching depending on variables at customer location.

· Knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred, not required.
