The successful candidate for the Regional Sales Manager position will be an experienced sales leader with demonstrated history of developing and managing employees, providing exemplary customer service, and driving business objectives and goals of a designated region. Preference will be given to Licensed Audiologists or Hearing Aid Dispensers, with at least 5 years of practice in a clinical/dispensing setting or experienced sales professionals within the hearing or medical supply industries. We are hiring a Regional Sales Manager to oversee daily operations of our Pittsburgh PA office.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall development and management of the regional office employees and business.  Ensure development of sales and service team and proactively monitor performance against business goals and objectives
  • Clearly communicate standards and expectations; provide coaching to meet expectations, defining accountability; conduct performance reviews
  • Consistently develop and execute regional territory business plans, driving business objectives and goals; provide business intelligence to Sales and Service Team, drive strategic initiatives, and build strong customer partner relationships. 
  • Assist with resolving customer issues regarding sales and/or service.
  • Communicate Corporate and Sales leadership messages, direction, goals, objectives, plans, and information to team members and align messaging to strategies.
  • Maintain and expand customer base through strategic alignment and collaboration with sales and service team; building and maintaining rapport with all customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Responsible for gross profit and expenses, ensuring the achievement of short and long-term profitability goals.
  • Create and continually update the growth plans for this territory through a deep understanding of the various customer segments, market dynamics and drivers, as well as changing competitive environment.
  • Ensures that customers receive the most suitable audiologic instrumentation recommendations to meet their needs and requirements, closes the sale, provide in-service training, and post-sale support and service; responsible for selling or supporting only authorized products and services in assigned territory
  • Subject matter expert of e3 products and services (audiological testing and equipment), ability to demonstrate knowledge and attributes to current and potential customers through product demonstration and conversations.  (NOTE:  e3 product and sales training will be provided for development of knowledge, operation and use of audiometers, middle ear analyzers, OAE, ABR, VNG and real ear/hearing aid analyzers).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, preferred, or combination of education and experience
  • 5-8 years of experience leading, directing and developing sales team across a large, dispersed region
  • 5 years of sales experience in the hearing industry or medical supplies experience
  • Must have valid driver’s license and maintain clear driving record
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
