We are looking for an experienced Senior Freight & Transportation Analyst to evaluate our domestic and international transportation and supply chain network. In this role, you will be required to collect and interpret logistics and financial data and develop opportunities for improvement that optimize transportation and supply chain cost.

This position requires being on site in our Somerset, NJ location a minimum of 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the distribution network and shipping pattern of multiple vendors such as UPS and FedEx.
  • Develop, analyze and recommend opportunities that optimize transportation and supply chain cost.
  • Support management with reporting and analytics identifying shipping service and cost improvement opportunities.
  • Develop KPI monitoring carriers performance across areas of delivery times, freight spend, freight consolidation through monthly KPI reporting and meetings.
  • Interact with cross functional teams to support and improve the daily Courier operations.
  • Review of Courier contracts, rate sheets and perform benchmarking against market rates.
  • Assist Global Supply Chain teams with insight and analysis about the North American market as needed in preparation of carrier RFQs.
  • Support Global procurement on assessing duty rates on imports into the US based on current and future supplier base.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree  supply chain, civil engineering, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a transportation analyst or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Advanced user in Excel.
  • Familiar with US Customs regulations related to CTPAT-preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to project manage and work independently.
