The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing all tax packages and supplemental documentation for all US legal entities used in the preparation of the corporate income tax returns and assisting with US corporate tax reporting for all US entities in all US jurisdictions.

 

Responsibilities

 

Responsible for preparing all year-end tax packages and supplemental documentation to be submitted to the external tax advisors for all legal entities.

Responsible for preparing and analyzing all fixed assets files and reports required for income tax for all legal entities.

Assists with all functions pertaining to corporate income tax when needed, including international filings.

Assists in preparing documentation to be used in the tax true-up, provision, returns, and other various tax filings for all legal entities.

Makes electronic, online payments or check requests on an as needed basis.

Assists in gathering data for income tax audits for all legal entities in all jurisdictions.

Responsible for documenting, researching, and resolving tax notices and issues.

Complete all other tasks and projects assigned by management.

 

This position assists and reports to the US Tax Manager. All tasks will be in close cooperation with the US businesses, US Tax, Group Tax, and US Finance.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related field is required

3+ years of corporate tax experience preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy is required

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure

Proven ability in complex problem solving and use of solid judgment skills

Proven ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines

Ability to maintain confidentiality
