Hearing Screening Associates (HSA) is a full-service company that offers an all-inclusive service for the hearing screening of newborn infants. HSA provides services for all aspects of newborn hearing, including onsite hospital testing, equipment sales, supply sales, reporting and billing. Our goal is to be the premier Newborn Hearing Screening company. 

 

The Diagnostics Sales Representative is responsible for managing all the sales functions is their assigned territory.  Sales functions include newborn hearing screening (NHS) service contracts, equipment sales, supply sales, and HiTrack software contracts with Hospitals or Hospital systems within the assigned territory. The Sales Representative’s role is to develop long-term account relationships with hospitals and neonatal departments, providing sales and support services to our hospital partners within the assigned territory. 

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes sales and marketing strategy to expand customer base and maximize existing customer potential to obtain market share within Newborn Hearing Screening product markets. Grow service contracts, equipment sales, and supply sales within the territory.  
  • Achieve growth and exceed sales targets by successfully managing sales activity in assigned territory. 
  • Builds strong relationships with current and prospective customers; collaborating to identify needs and provide impactful solutions; responsive to customers and prospects needs; partners with internal stakeholders and departments to provide excellent customer service and support. 
  • Responsible to identify and demonstrate HSA Newborn Hearing Screening services, equipment, supplies, software, and devices. 
  • Partners with Management Team to collaborate on market trends, also planning, campaign development, and execution of marketing campaigns and events, ensuring brand adherence and continuity. Self-driven and leads projects and additional tasks as needed. 
  • Provides customer training to ensure proper use of all HSA equipment, products, and services. 
  • Collaborate with local personnel including Nurse Managers, Purchasing, Biomed, and other key players or stakeholders. 
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending clinical workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies. 
  • Build and maintain customer relationships and provide unparalleled service and technical support. 
  • Maintain accurate records of customer contact, customer activity and equipment within ACT database and QuoteWerks. 
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing.

  • Up to 50% travel
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in related field  
  • Licensed Audiologist or strong medical equipment sales background, with at least 5 years of practice in a clinical/dispensing setting is preferred; medical device sales and/or hearing industry experience is a plus. 
  • Working proficiency of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and CRM’s such as ACT. 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to maintain a clean driving record. 
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test as well as any customer-required screening requirements. 
  • Ability to read and interpret financial documents required. 
  • Prior P&L responsibilities is a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
