The Sound Booth Supervisor is responsible for leading their local team of Sound Booth Laborers, as well as overseeing the planning and coordination of local sound booth installations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Recruit, interview, hire and train Sound Booth Laborers.
• Work with staffing agencies to obtain temporary laborers as needed.
• Manage hourly Sound Booth Laborers.
• Approve timesheets and PTO requests from employees.
• Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Partner with National Soundroom Service Manager to handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Coordinate sound booth laborers for installation work, leading a team of permanent installers and working with staffing agencies to obtain temporary laborers as needed.
• Provide on-the-job training to Sound Booth Laborers.
• Participate in the installation and assembly of new Sound Booths; disassemble, move, and reinstall Sound Booths within hospitals, clinics, schools, and other businesses.
• Implement and follow all job safety rules and instructions.
• Responsible for safety of crew members, customers, and others in job site area.
• Collaborate and communicate with local sales team in assigned territory, schedule sound booth installs and coordinate delivery and installation with customers, accountable for all details associated with the install or move of sound booths.
• Transport, move and assemble sound booths following proper methods as defined by manufacturer specifications; visually check components for defects/damage and communicate these items to sales team.
• Assess construction site sizing and assembly in accordance with manufacture specifications and customer site requirements; scheduling of equipment as needed, such as forklift or crane for onsite installation.
• Safely perform all assigned tasks.
• Use power tools and moving equipment such as dollies and wheeled carts.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend architectural drawings.
• Knowledge and ability to safely operate mechanical equipment, such as forklift, etc.; company to provide training for certification to operate equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain OSHA30 certification, must attend company provided OSHA and Manufacturers training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years construction/trade experience working on job sites and construction locations.
• Ability to maintain valid Driver’s License and safely operate company vehicle (provided)
• OSHA10 certification preferred and must attend company provided OSHA and Manufacturers training.
• Experience leading a crew or construction job site team preferred not required.
Travel:
• This position is subject to travel up to 75% of the time (driving and flying).
• Some locations may require the ability to rent a vehicle.
Physical Requirements:
• Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine.
• Physical ability to lift and/or move large, bulky Sound Booth components up to 100 pounds intermittently throughout the workday; possible work performed on elevated work surfaces and ladders.
• Safety glasses, vests, harness, hard hat provided by the company; recommend safety shoes/boots as needed.
• Physically able to drive a vehicle for prolonged periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds at times.
