e3 Diagnostics is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to work in the Arlington Heights, IL office.
The successful Accounts Receivable Analyst candidate will:
• Apply cash receipts, investigate payments that can’t be applied due to missing remittance, incorrect invoices on remittance, etc.,
• Understand how to credit and rebill customers for over-payments, missing PO#’s, and other reasons.
• Become expert in our OneDiagnostic computer system (Navision) while responding to customers and field sales teams.
• Provide excellent customer service with face-to-face, verbal, and written communication while working in a collaborative and team environment.
• Accurately process all customer payments (i.e., Checks, credit cards, electronic payments, etc.) in Navision.
• Respond to customer (both internal and external) inquiries via phone, email.
• Review and, if appropriate, process debit and credit memos.
• Manage tax exempt certificate to include obtaining tax exempt certificates, entering in system, obtaining renewal before expiration, etc.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate files and documentation; participate in audits if necessary.
• Create and/or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the year, collaborating with AR Team Lead and Corporate Controller
• Recommend methods for operational efficiency to drive business results
• All other duties as assigned.
• 2+ years’ experience working in accounting or accounts receivable, related college course work and/or degree desirable
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail, highly organized
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
