    Oticon, and industry leader in the Hearing Industry is recruiting for a HRIS Specialist.  The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Specialist with expertise in HR systems of record, including core HRIS, talent and learning management systems. Plays a key role in system optimization, business analytics, system reporting, audits and compliance, data integrity, role based security, back end system functionality, end user support and daily administrative system functions.


    Includes the following. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

    • Prepare, maintain and update employee data in HRIS to ensure data integrity.
    • Review and process data changes submitted by business partners across all divisions.
    • Audit payroll preview to ensure HR changes are properly executed for each periodic payroll cycle.
    • Perform group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and researches/reports on any data discrepancies.
    • Streamline internal work processes with enhancements to existing procedures for all organizations.
    • Develop and maintain reports from all HRIS, Talent and Learning Management systems to support needs of business partners and provide periodic HR Metrics.
    • Maintain system workflows and business process approval chains to ensure employee and manager initiated change options function properly.
    • Work with external vendors to ensure employee data integrity for various benefits including health and welfare, HSA, FSA/Dependent Care, & 401(k) accounts.
    • Assist the HRIS Manager in the maintenance, troubleshooting and design and rollout of new system features and implementations.
    • Act as primary contact for daily technical and operational end user support with HR systems including HRIS, Talent and Learning Management.
    • Maintain system roles/access rights for employee/manager/admin end users.
    • Assist Benefits team with system needs and considerations throughout the year and during annual Open Enrollment.
    • Manage inter-dependencies between internal and external systems, including single and bi-directional data feeds between HRIS and external vendors, as well as connections with other internal HR and IT systems.
    • Serve as a power user and system administrator updating changes, constructing back-end settings, end user set up, maintenance and audits of role-based security.
    • Maintain data integrity of the market survey data, job code library, survey benchmarks.
    • Support the annual compensation cycle changes.
    • Assist in identifying and prioritizing the system and reporting roadmap, quantifying business value of potential module enhancements.
    • Troubleshoot and analyze system issues and deficiencies; identify and recommend solutions
    • Create and update training items and curricula in learning management system for HR run training events and compliance training needs
    • Assist with applicant data flow, troubleshooting and system maintenance in talent management system, including support to end user employees and candidates
    • Create, update and support the development of training and supporting resources to reflect system processes, changes and enhancements; aid in communication as needed
    • Analyze user inquires to identify common themes and provide recommendations to HRIS manager to alleviate user requests/questions and increase system efficiencies


    • College Degree required.
    • Minimum of 3years of HR System Administration experience.
    • Proficiency with web-based HRIS, learning and talent management tools required. Ultimate Software (Ultipro), iCIMS, SAP-Success Factors experience strongly preferred.
    • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, and extensive experience with HR Systems reporting. Cognos Analytics reporting experience preferred.
    • Ability to interface with all levels of employees, providing high level of customer service in every aspect.
    • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
    • Must be highly organized with extreme attention to detail.
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and time-management skills.
    • Root cause analysis skills, ability to foresee potential challenges and be prepared with solutions.
    • Demonstrated experience/maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information.
    • Teamwork, flexibility and a professional demeanor are required
