At this time, we are seeking a Vice President of Operations.  This is a highly visible, position providing direct support to the President of Consult YHN.


  • Provides leadership to direct reports and counsel to the President and Vice President of Sales, in implementing company objectives that appropriately reflect the company’s business goals. This includes operational excellence guidelines, system implementations, and best practices.
  • Strategic business planning of company-wide initiatives and the impact on revenue; prepares and delivers presentations at an executive level.
  • Partners with senior sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process optimization. Facilitates successful implementation of new programs and approaches through the sales organization by ensuring well-defined, efficient processes. Fosters an organization of continuous process improvement, and prioritizes operational efficiencies across multiple departments.
  • Develops and executes the promotional strategy for the company including planning and communication of activities to drive incremental business and meet company revenue goals.
  • Works closely with senior sales leadership and business analytics group to define the optimal performance measurements required to ensure sales organization success. Aligns reporting, training, and implementation programs with these priorities.
  • Participates and leads strategic projects designed to fulfill the operational needs of the sales team. These projects include continuous collaboration with all relevant support services departments including Marketing, Customer Management, Sales Analytics, Finance, IT, Recruiting, HR, Compliance etc.
  • Leads and directs the efforts of Marketing, Sales Analytics, Customer Management, and Training teams. Responsible for hiring/firing, onboarding, managing performance, coaching, and team building to develop an engaged workforce.
  • Coordinates with multiple key stakeholders across functional departments.
  • Collaborates with other executive staff in the prioritization of sales activities and escalation of process improvement needs.
  • Creates and delivers training curriculum to field sales and management focused on increasing management skills, Consult YHN value delivery knowledge, selling skills, and/or daily operational activities, resulting in sales force effectiveness.
  • Serves as the business process owner to system integration projects to support company business support programs, working closely with IT.
  • Works with Finance and HR to develop and maintain Operations compensation and performance management plans.
  • Defines, monitors, and works to improve cross functional business processes to ensure optimal sales execution and results.
  • Works closely with the leaders across partner Demant companies.
  • Acts as a liaison between the outside sales teams to internal functions, to improve and enforce processes and policies relating to data integrity across channels.
  • Top leader in accountability – works to manage the culture, behaviors, and collaboration among departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience, including at an executive level.
  • Experience in operations, strategic and financial planning.
  • Experience in the hearing health care field preferred.
  • BS/BA degree is required; preferably in business administration or other related fields. MBA preferred.
  • Effective leadership skills with extensive experience managing and motivating people, strong grasp of Situational Leadership concepts and a servant - leader approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Successful track record in designing and executing successful operational assessments.
  • An exceptional ability to prioritize, define scope, manage projects, and drive progress.
  • Extensive experience working in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills that support attention to details.
  • Demonstrated competency in budget management.
  • Strong sales and customer focus.
  • Ability to work independently, with ambition and bias for action, strong functional ability with Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
