Overview

BILLING SPECIALIST - CHAD FORD, PA

 

This position handles the daily billing of invoices, research and resolve minor invoice issues, ensure timely posting variance batches returned from pricing and follow through on any assigned special responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Bill and post invoices from all the vendors that the organization deals with
  • Ensure that variance batches returned from pricing are billed within 24 hours of their return
  • Research and resolve minor invoice problems
  • Maintain billing department productivity and accuracy goals
  • Track, bill and post credits
  • Comply with HIPAA federal and state guidelines and organization policies
  • Special projects as assigned

This position will have access to protected health information (PHI) in the course of his/her duties. Applying the minimum necessary standard of HIPAA, the designated record sets to which this position will have access include manufacturer invoices and credits.

Qualifications

Education : High School education or equivalent.

Experience: One to two years related experience

Skills: Attention to detail, able to work in a face paced environment, team player
