Hearing Screening Associates is a full-service company that offers an all-inclusive service for the hearing screening of newborn infants. HSA provides services for all aspects of Newborn hearing, beginning with personnel and testing, to equipment, to reporting and billing; our goal is to be the premier Newborn Hearing Screening company.

The Data Entry Clerk is a permanent role based in the corporate office in Arlington Heights, IL.  HSA provides services, ensuring all newborn infants hearing is screened before discharge from the hospital.  This is your opportunity to make a difference, one baby at a time.   

• Responsible for entering patient demographic and insurance data into AdvancedMD (billing software) with accuracy and attention to detail
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and other privacy and security policies and regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of all patient information and records
• Checks completed work for errors or duplicate information before submitting into AdvancedMD
• Files completed work using appropriate system for easy research retrieval
• Effectively communicates and notifies Operations Manager of changes and additions to providers/insurances in the AdvancedMD key
• Participates in ongoing training for updated processes and procedures
• Researches pending eligibility claims within State database systems
• All other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED required, Associate degree in business related area preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, time management and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Must be able to take and follow direction
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous data entry experience, preferred
