The Assistant Financial Controller is responsible for supporting to ensure overall financial integrity and accuracy of the Demant US Wholesale Hearing Aids Business Unit. This includes, but is not limited to, the integrity of the business unit’s balance sheet and profit and loss statement. This role is an integral member of the Finance Group Services Leadership Team, and partners closely with the Wholesale and Group Services Leadership team and their management team. Core competencies of the successful team member will include subject matter expertise of accounting, with an understanding of IFRS standards, a strong ability to financially control and partner starting with the balance sheet, strong process and controls mindset, analytical abilities, proven ability to lead a team of professionals and manage change, a strong sense of professional skepticism, and a commitment to continuous team, self and process improvements.
Location: Hybrid schedule in Somerset, NJ (Tuesday/Thursday in office)

They will ensure all cash postings are done in a timely and accurate manner and reconciled to the bank activity. This role requires great attention to detail, along with being able to work in multiple systems and manage a high volume of data entry.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for assisting with the overall financial integrity and accuracy of the Demant US Wholesale Hearing Aids Business Unit. This includes assisting in preparation of financial statements that follow all regulatory and accounting guidelines. The role will be responsible for financial accuracy, assisting in development of control systems, day-to-day transactional accounting, financial audits, and quarterly financial reporting requirements etc. This individual must have strong knowledge of accounting principles, a strong process mindset, analytical abilities, and proven ability to lead a team of professionals.

This position requires being on site in our Somerset, NJ location a minimum of 3 days per week.
