Hearing Screening Associates (HSA) is a growth-oriented company offering an all-inclusive service to hospitals for the hearing screening of newborn infants; providing services for all aspects of newborn hearing screening, offering screening personnel and testing, insurance reporting and billing, plus hearing screening equipment.  Our goal is to be the premier Newborn Hearing Screening company.


The President of HSA provides strategic direction to all functions and levels of the organization.  Ensuring service, equipment solutions and offerings create value for all stakeholders.  Drives profit and loss through knowledge of market trends; requires experience developing a fast-growing remote workforce; is the role model of company values and behaviors, managing the organization through distinctive leadership with integrity and authenticity.  Clear understanding of the insurance industry to lead a dynamic billing and insurance system, building and engaging a high-performance team with focus on customer needs and execution of key performance indicators. 


The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in healthcare strategy and operations performance improvements and innovation; focused on care delivery, reimbursement models, quality metrics and analytics reporting.  With high emphasis on insurance billing, collections, and reconciliation.


This opportunity is based at the Arlington Heights, Illinois corporate office. HSA provides services, ensuring all newborn infants hearing is screened within three days of birth and prior to hospital discharge.  This is your opportunity to make a difference, one baby at a time.   




  • Responsible for overall profitability of Hearing Screening Associates.
  • Specific focus on insurance collections and billing, and cost unit and efficiency; adjusting direction and strategy to remain competitive in the hearing diagnostics industry, ensures company profitability and sustainability.
  • Ensures full compliance of all Insurance Industry billing practices; maintains legal compliance of all local, state, and federal laws. Provides channels to maintain strict confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy and security policies and regulations.
  • Plans, develops, and directs policies and objectives of the business in accordance with the corporate goals set by the President of Diagnostics Instruments.
  • Key company business representative nationally and globally; Acts as spokesman for the company in communication with major customers, competitors, and industry contacts.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership to develop long and short-term business goals and objectives. Presents budgets for review and approvals.
  • Motivates, inspires, and engages the HSA leadership team, driving the organizational business goals and closely monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develops HSA leadership and workforce, providing vision, mission and company values and culture through effective thought counsel, providing strategy and direction across a geographically dispersed organization.
  • All other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 7+ years’ experience in the insurance billing industry with focused expertise in the medical sales and service.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Sales Role.
  • 10+ years’ experience leading teams and an organization through growth and expansion opportunities, winning business contracts with a focus on providing Services.
  • Experience developing and leading teams through performance and development management.
  • Familiar with technological systems necessary to support progressive business growth.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Travel as needed nationally and internationally, supporting a larger corporate global business and philosophy.
