The Marketing Manager, Product Strategy supports the development and implementation of both B2B and B2C product positioning, core messaging and communication, strategic direction, and sales tools.  Also leads the development of the B2C core marketing materials that position and communicate the product.  Supports customer and consumer market research and the development of counseling tools.


  • Collaborate with Sr. Mgr and support the development and implementation of B2B activities and lead B2C product positioning, core messaging and communication
  • Implement marketing positioning and messaging that support product marketing strategy and contribute to increasing unit sales and revenue.
  • Based on product marketing strategy and research, develop B2C product marketing core materials that best position and communicate the product for the patient. Examples:  Content Blocks, CBR, and support development of Counseling Tools
  • Support the development of counseling tools to aid in the selling through of Oticon products from the Hearing Care Professionals to their patients
  • Support customer and manage consumer market research initiatives. Gain insight into the patient journey, motivations that influence their healthcare purchasing decisions as well as validate high level messaging/positioning.
  • Agency Management. Manage and provide direction to local Agencies that help drive the development and implementation of US B2C product marketing strategy, messaging and communication.
  • Collaborate with Product Strategy and Business Support marketing teams, Product Management and Brand marketing team to ensure accuracy/alignment of messaging
  • Collaborate with other cross functional departments within the organization: Sales, L&D Customer Experience, etc. to ensure accuracy/continuity of messaging
  • Ensure timely collaboration and transparency with Customer Marketing team to ensure B2C efforts take into account B2B2C needs and Oticon achieves a high alignment between B2C and B2B2C efforts (patient facing).
  • Support the development and on-time and on-budget delivery of Sales tools necessary to sell in the Oticon product/portfolio to our customers as well as tools to aid them to sell through to the patients, working with and through Global, Agencies, Creatives Services and other partners as needed
  • Work with Oticon Creative Group Services team for final design, layout, printing of any B2C materials or sales tools that require production. 

May perform miscellaneous tasks/projects as directed by manager.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in B2C or B2B marketing, preferably in hearing care, medical device or healthcare industries
  • Audiologist or Hearing Care Professional (HCP) with dispensing experience and commercial focus preferred
  • Experience executing B2B/B2C product marketing positioning, messaging and communications preferred
  • Success developing B2B and B2C product marketing and sales tools from ideation to execution
  • Strong track record of implementing approved plans
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Strong writing, verbal, editing, presentation and overall communication skills
  • Ability to work well across multiple departments and independently
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
  • Strong collaboration skills, proven team player
  • High performing, high energy self-starter with proven ability to work both independently as well as a member of high-performance teams in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
